Texas Based Fitness Studio Raise $34,045 for Special Olympics as They Provide Exclusive Workout Session for Athletes

Orangetheory Fitness is an organization that bestows a 60-minute workout, focusing on endurance, strength, and power. They use Heart-Based Interval Training, which burns more calories post the workout session in comparison with any other conventional exercise. Moreover, Orangetheory makes fitness enthusiasts, and bodybuilders wear Heart Rate monitors, wherein the results of the exercise are displayed in real-time on large screens throughout the studio. In addition, the intensity of the training depends on a person’s own heart rate which is monitored by our fitness coaches to ensure that participants do not over or under-train themselves.

Recently, Orangetheory Fitness in Texas and Louisiana, have funded $34,045 for the Special Olympics Texas (S0TX). The athletes who took part in the Special Olympics were paid $25 each. It was an initiative launched by Maverick Fitness Holdings, the company that owned 35 Orangetheory Fitness studios throughout Texas.

Maverick Fitness, the second largest franchise of Orangetheory is headquartered in Frisco. It is an enterprise that aims to positively contribute to the community and ensure they meet their fitness goals.
The initiative was developed in the year 2020 with the vision to keep the athletes active during Covid-19. The group ensures science-backed, coach-inspired, and technology-tracked ultimate workout sessions.

The CEO of Special Olympics Tim Martin in North Texas was pleased to collaborate with the fitness organization by saying, “Every year now we are more and more excited about the partnership with Orangetheory Fitness as it expands to more studios, more communities, and more athletes across the state.”
Since then, the initiative has developed into an all-inclusive movement with Orangetheory Fitness across both states. Thus, since then athletes of Special Olympics have been hosted every year for a 60 to 90-minute workout session. Approximately 107 Orangetheory Fitness Studios engaged in this year’s event, along with 95 Special Olympics athletes partake in the workout regimen.

Orangetheory Fitness has devised a unique long-term vision of fitness to amalgamate the trifecta of coaching, science, and technology. Most of the athletes and bodybuilders train hard to burn calories and get a muscular physique.
